In India, civil service system is an executive branch of the Republic of India and functions like the backbone of the administrative machinery of the country. The primary function of the Civil Service is to implement policies and delivering services.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the RAS/RTS exam for filling up Group A and Group B vacancies in the state administrative machinery. The RAS Exam is officially referred to as Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Examination. RAS Age Limit
